  Where Is the Liability?

  this is the new approach i have taken with family and anyone who asks me why i am not attending meetings.

  maybe it has been said a million times, but recently it seems to resonate in my head......."where is the liability?

  I meditate. Those thoughts are poison to your body. You need to purge them immediately.
  
  I also have to remember that I am my own toughest critic. Whether at work, in the gym, or playing. As I posted on another thread, the Dub's do not teach you how to love yourself. They do teach how to feel unworthy, guilty, and worthless. Growing up I was a "fat" kid. So that's whay drives me today still. Not to be fat. But loving oneself is a constant effort.

  Will Jehovah prevent men from going to Mars?

  a few of the friends i have spoken to over the years seemed to think that jehovah would never allow man to leave the planet and visit another.. "we have to get this planet right first", they said.. i thought at the time, perhaps the furthest man would be allowed to go would be the moon.. recently, president bush announced a new space initiative for nasa - first the moon by 2017, then mars by 2020-2030.. what are your thoughts?.

  I remember when the Hubble Telescope was going up.....scientists were conjecturing that it might be able to see the edge of the universe....and an elder I knew said God would "blind" it so it wouldn't work. Do you know how smug he was when the Hubble had mirror problems and couldn't "see" as far as hoped. Maybe when the gyroscopes fail on Hubble and it crashes back into the Earth it can come crashing through his mobile home he lives in. Would serve him right. :P

  "If your home has an outside toilet...." I think if you don't have an indoor shitter in 1988 the least thing you should be worried about is getting a lock for it. Sheesh. What's going to happen some crazy neighbor come over and leave a "Hangin Dragon" in your outhouse?

  i just watched the local bbc news and there was a story about a woman who'd fed her baby while sitting on a public bench.

  she finished and was on her way when a police car drew up beside her and asked her to stop.

  there had been a complaint.

  i watched dr. phil yesterday, where they were highlighting the disappearance of natalee holloway who disappeared in aruba over 5 months ago, and amy bradley who vanished from a cruise ship 7 years ago.

  i always assumed that these girls were raped and then murdered and they very likely could be, but the program highlighted the sex-slave trade that is growing in leaps and bounds all over the world.

  i sat there and listened in shock as one guy revealed what happens to some of these girls during snuff movies.
